My name is Nikki Costello, Director of JJ Social Work Consultancy LTD. I'm a qualified and highly experienced child protection social worker with a background in frontline practice and residential care management. I now work independently to support local authorities, families and professionals through specialist short-term interventions and assessments.

Parenting Capacity Assessments

We provide thorough, child-focused assessments that explore a parent's ability to meet their child's needs - emotionally, physically, and developmentally.  Assessments include, direct work and observations, interviews and background analysis, with clear, evidence based recommendations.

Out of Hours Welfare Visits

Flexible, reliable welfare visits outside normal office hours. These visits are available on behalf of local authorities for situations requiring evening or weekend checks, engagement, or direct support.

Parent Engagement Programme

4 - 6 Week, intense intervention for hard to reach or non-engaging families.

Direct Work and Engagement support interventions to support parents to fully engage in the CP Process and PLO Framework. Preventing drift and escalations with families and local authorities.
